Highlights

The plan for this part of the production diary is for it to be a highlight reel of sorts. for some of the effects and techniques I enjoyed doing or didn't show in my main diary, as well as to go a little more in-depth into my thought process and why certain decisions were made.
This is all in an attempt to make my process and creative decisions more understandable and easy to follow for anyone looking at my website with little to no editing experience.
Hojo Tokimune Intro animation

The First Thing I want to cover is my transition to introduce the Shogun of Japan at the time of the Mongol invasions: Hojo Tokimune, I accomplished this with mainly just masking and the simple use of the 3d camera.
Now I'm really happy how this transition turned out it defiantly not hard to do but delivers a quite immersive effect and properly set up Tokimune as an important character.

In the above video I explain how I created this effect, It was quite fun to try out as I hadn't done anything like this before, I for one think it came out pretty good, I know there isn't much writing accompanying all of this but I can't really say much as I covered much of it in the video.

Lining up audio and video
music is important
Here I want to go through some of the audio editing in premier pro, This was relatively glossed over in the main production diary but was quite an important part of the editing process, all is shown in the video below.
